Film

“Tattoos are more than just ink on skin; they are visual narratives of our dreams and symbolic frameworks.”

Selma

I was drawn to the opportunity to co-create beauty with others. I see tattooing as an artistic tool for deep expression, of emotions, experiences, thoughts, and beliefs.

Process

01 How do I start with the idea for my tattoo?

Firstly, conceptualize the idea or theme you want for your tattoo. Create an album with reference pictures that align with your vision. I'll use these images to understand your wishes, and design your tattoo.

02 How should I decide the placement?

While the choice of placement is yours, keep in mind that tattoos on hands and feet fade quicker and may require touch-ups. During the appointment, I will help finalize the best placement based on your individual design, and how it flows with your body.

03 What about the size of the tattoo?

The size mostly depends on you, but keep in mind that detailed designs need to be larger for better healing and retention of details. I will guide you on the optimal size during your appointment.

04 How do I book an appointment?

Fill out the booking form below. Include a brief but detailed description of your desired design, a photo marking the tattoo's placement, and its size in centimeters. Also attach reference pictures and similar works by me that you like.

05 What should I prepare the day before?

Ensure you sleep well and avoid alcohol, as it thins the blood. Prepare snacks and sugary drinks to consume during breaks. If you have a full-day session, prepare lunch. Wear dark clothes to avoid staining from ink and stencil. Bring entertainment like a book or headphones.

06 What happens during the session?

I'll greet you at the reception where we'll review the final design together. Then, I'll set up the station, prepare the single-use materials and sterilize the machine. We'll finalize the size and placement, then wait 10 minutes for the stencil to dry before starting.

07 How do I care for my tattoo afterward?

Keep the tattoo film on for the first 24 hours. Remove it carefully using water to soften the glue. Wash the tattoo with fragrance-free soap. To dry, either let it air-dry or use clean paper. Apply a thin layer of tattoo aftercare cream 2-3 times a day for 2-3 weeks.

08 What can I expect during healing?

Your tattoo will ooze fluids like blood and ink initially. Then, it will start scabbing, itching, and flaking. It's crucial not to pick at the scabs and let them fall off naturally.

09 What should I avoid while it heals?

Avoid direct sunlight, swimming in oceans or pools, saunas and jacuzzis for the first 2-3 weeks. Avoid strenuous workouts for the first 5 days. Use only the aftercare cream and avoid applying sunscreen on the fresh tattoo.

10 What are signs it isn't healing properly?

Signs of improper healing include persistent redness, fever, oozing of fluids after 2-3 days, and swollen or puffy skin around the tattoo. If you experience any of these symptoms, consult a healthcare provider immediately.
